The free walking tour of Riga was excellent and 100% the number 1 thing I would recommend doing. Rather than focusing solely on the touristy "Disneyland" that is Old Town, the tour takes you to the Central Market, the Moscow District and City Centre. Being a youth project, the tour is free but operates on tips.
