Roman Catholic Church Holy Cross
Around the corner from the famed Metropolitan Church lies the Roman Catholic Holy Cross. It was built by Piarist monks at the start of the 20th century and borrows elements from neo-Byzantine and baroque styles. It is most noted for its silver, cone-shaped towers. There is also a school belonging to the church's order. Given its aesthetic appeal it's a pity it's not appointed an attractive square to stand on. Nevertheless, it does however face a pretty park. Its central position in town also make it an easy landmark to tick off your lists of sights to see. #church #baroque #architecture #free
