If you tire of the mosaics, icons and white marble, make a detour to this collection housed in a bold building perfect for modern art (although clearly suffering a bit from the financial crisis) Things may be a bit hit-or-miss but I’d put the hits in the plus column, and somehow the sum total of all you’ll see is better than any of the individual pieces. The best of the bunch is (IMHO) is the beguiling “Musical” installation by the artist Takis which also fills the top floor with floating and haunting notes Note: Do not confuse this place with the similar sounding Centre of Contemporary Art.
