Gunwharf Quays is the commercial heart of Portsmouth and yet it still carves its own identity amongst its 90 chain stores and 30 eateries. It got its name for the armourments it once housed for the fleets of ships at Portsmouth Harbour. Now it's invaded by avid shoppers and families. On Saturday afternoon you can catch performances in the centre.
