Laguna Charco Verde is located on Isla de Ometepe between Volcan Maderas and Concepcion is a natural oasis! I’d say it’s a must see if you visit this island, there’s a butterfly garden with gorgeous tropical plants and colourful butterfly’s. There’s a few options for walks to take around the lagoon and the option of swimming should you choose. We were lucky enough to see howler monkeys in the trees during our walk!
