Wang Fu
Wang Fu specializes in dumplings from the Northern regions of China, which includes Beijing and Shanghai. The dumplings are usually thick-skinned and boiled in soup, rather than pan-fried. Hence, you won’t find any pan-fried dumplings here. But you will find a very special type of dumpling: Tomato & Egg Dumplings. Wang Fu is one of the rare dumpling houses that serve this type of dumpling, which my friend from the North told me, is one of the dishes they eat when they celebrate new years and other special occasions.
