This spot has become pretty popular among local people and it’s beginning to gain some popularity, but it’s still a great spot to go to, specially during work days when most of the people who know about it are, well, working. You enter through the town of Santiago, 45 minutes North of San José del Cabo, and take a right just after the bridge. Follow the straight road until the end and take the dirt road that climbs up the canyon. Stop here for a great photo op of the oasis below and then follow the signs to Rancho Sol de Mayo. To access the waterfall they charge about US$2, and there’s also a restaurant on site that offers traditional food of the region, such as burritos de Machaca (so good!).
