Musicians on Charles Bridge
There is no better place in Prague to lose yourself in the crowd than on Charles Bridge. It dates back to the beginning of the fifteenth century when it was completed by Charles VI. One surprising fact about this pedestrianised crossing is that the original statues are kept behind one of the original fortresses of the city in Vyšehrad.
If you turn up here before 7am you'll be one of the few people there, owing to unobstructed camera shots. It's great for shooting with the morning light and there's a distinct stillness in the air.
By day, buskers string out uplifting sounds as day trippers jostle for space in a pell-mell fashion.
