Out of all the 365 churches that once existed in Ohrid, Sveta Sofija has got to be the most prized building. It not only contains an auditorium for outside concerts but hosts frescos and paintings from Byzantine times. The church faces some delightful restaurants all with quaint, little patios with outside seating. Surroundings are complemented by Macedonian Ottoman-style houses noted by their progressively larger floor plans from the bottom up. #history #free #art
