Vintgar Gorge, easily one of my top highlights in Slovenia. Only a 15 minute drive from Lake Bled, you can spend just under two hours walking alongside tumbling, turquoise rivers and waterfalls before reaching Slap Šum (slap = waterfall), one of the largest in Slovenia. The walk itself is easy-paced and relatively all on flat ground.
