These sandstone reliefs, dubbed The Devil Heads and measuring nine metres high date back to the mid nineteenth century. The sculptor Václav Levý took to carving from a young age and these exhibits are perhaps his most impressive. Over time these structures have weathered adding not merely a sense of distortion but something that gives them a more demonic edge. The heads can be reached from various footpaths leading up from the village of Želízy.
