St Esteve of Andorra Church
It's an evocative view of the St. Stephen's Church, both from above and close up. Dating back to 11th century with its semi-circucular apse and gorgeous bell tower, one can't help but to stop and admire it. In my view, what adds to its charm are the bushes and trees encompassing it. Three exposed bells run vertically up the tower, creating an eye-catching feature. Not only do Romanesque churches like these serve a functional element but symbolically call the faithful and ward off storms. Each bell however operates for different practical purposes either for timekeeping, services or special occasions.
