Ice fishing in Finland was a completely new experience for me. Having never even caught a fish before, pulling one up from the ice was a bigger thrill. There are an abundance of perch under the surface and the smaller the sweeter and tastier they come. In just under an hour, nineteen guests and volunteers caught thirty-nine little beauties. Lunch entailed pan fried perch in butter which went down a treat with some delectable wild berry juice. #icefishing #perch #lake #hook
