Cuenca is the most beautiful city we've visited in Ecuador - it's even prettier than all of the town's we've visited too. It retains a lot of its colonial architecture and charm and, along with some excellent publically funded infrastructure (like a pedestrian walkway along the riverside running through the Centro Histórico), it might be one of my favourite places, so far, in South America. #photography #views #history #statue #cuenca #colonial #architecture
