SF cable cars aren’t the fastest way to get around (the underground cable they’re connected to travels at a steady 9.5 mph) and they’re expensive ($7 one-way), but the California line does get you to the Financial District, and when the Powell-Hyde line descends towards Aquatic Park, the view is spectacular.
