This is one of the spookiest mansions in town. Vila Eleonore Priebschová looks as if it hasn't been inhabited in decades. Whilst the villa is borrowed from Greek designs it was only completed in 1883. Gustav Miksch was responsible for the work and during his career was influenced by strong Greek and Roman designs. The two caryatids on the balcony and Greek style columns go unnoticed amidst the aging stone work and abandonment. It’s unique presentation however definitely set it apart from all the other villas on Liberec's most sought after street – Masarykova. #greekdesign #history #spooky
