The Ascension Cathedral (or Zenkov) in the jewel of Almaty. Entirely made of wood, this colourful building has been built in 1907 and is really impressive. Unfortunately, it's under renovation until further notice, but even only from outside it's worth the view. #culture #cathedral #architecture #almaty #kazakhstan
