Inside the blue and gold onion domed cathedral of SP, named The Assumption Cathedral, are frescos which better represent the true age of the building compared to its glossy exterior. I loved how the light shot through the tiny windows in the roof owing to a couple of photos. Entrance is free although a contribution of 100 roubles is required for those wishing to take pictures. Opening hours are from 5am-9pm except during religious holidays when it's open around the clock. #history #architecture #art
