Nakamise Shopping Street
Nakamise Street is the main approach to Sensoji temple, running between the Kaminarimon gate and the imposing Hanzomon gate. The street is lined with shops, some of them over 100 years old, selling snacks, souvenirs and traditional crafts. It’s a great place to try different varieties of rice crackers, unusual ice cream flavours, taiyaki, or still warm melonpan bread. The alleys behind the main shopping street are worth checking out, as there are some interesting shops hidden away there. #tokyo #food #traditional
