Four Countesses is more than a place to stay. The lodging seems to double up as a tour agency. Thus they offer a range of privatised and group excursions on and around Lake Skadar. I was welcomed by one of the sisters, Bojana, who demonstrated that nothing was too much trouble as soon as we arrived. The accommodation is well placed just minutes on foot from the railway station. Into town is a pleasant 10-minute walk via a footpath into the centre of Virpazar. It is from town many excursions begin. Regarding the price I can not complain. A strong Wi-Fi, kitchenette and decent level of cleanliness made this place very worthwhile.
