Masa Buka is a centrally located restaurant in Liberec offering a variety of meze and souvlaki. My only gripe was that the food was a bit too salty. Given the size of the city, staff speak just a spattering of English but showed an incalculable amount of patience to non-Czech speakers like ourselves. All the waitresses and waiters were extremely polite and greeted us with smiles. Three generous size portions from the starter and main course plus a 500 ml carafe of white wine came to less than 20 euros (508 Kč). Given the fact we arrived on a Saturday evening with no prior reservation we had a sneaky suspicion we'd not get a table. The restaurant supervisor however had no problem in getting us in at our desired time that very evening. Overall a good place for laid-back, semi-formal dining.
