The 'Umbrellas' is a famous sculpture by Giorgos Zongolopoulos, which decorate the seaside of the city and has become famous to its visitors. Everybody who visits Thessaloniki  has a photo in front of them.  This sculpture represented Greece at the 45th Biennale of Venice.
