The New Synagogue which connects to the existing library is a notable part of the historical centre of Liberec. Shaped as a triangle signifying half the Star of David, it sits in harmony among bookworms and scholars of the library. From inside the library etchings in Hebrew can be seen from the protruding wall of the Synagogue. The site also has a ramp sloping down towards the place of worship internally which contains one of the original scrolls from the former synagogue. Pictures of Israel are placed around the circumference of the building's interior and visitors are welcome to see inside.
