You can’t visit Kraków without visiting Wawel Castle and Cathedral, built in the 11th Century. The buildings are insanely beautiful and the interior of the cathedral is very ornate. The grounds are a lovely place to walk or recharge your batteries with a coffee. Make sure to bring a shawl or tshirt to cover your shoulders or you can be denied entry to the cathedral. Entrance to the grounds and cathedral is free but you can buy tickets for tours and certain parts of the cathedral, including some of the chapels, are ticketed. It’s also a beautiful place to see in the evening when it’s all lit up! There is a bit of a hill to walk up to get to the grounds. #poland #krakow #cathedral #castle #gardens
