Made famous by arguably the most famous of all Danes, Hans Christian Andersen, the Little Mermaid is one of Copenhagen’s most famous tourist attractions. Made from bronze, it sits on a rock on the water’s edge at the outskirts of the city. Some argue there is not much to see, but no visit to Copenhagen is complete without saying you’ve seen it.
