Compared to its frequently visited sister lake - Ohrid, Lake Prespa is generally where the locals hang out. You'll find it's far more sparsely populated. The only islet just a few kilometres from its shore, Golem Island - coined 'The Island of Snakes' - is an enigma. Sunsets are sublime and coming here on summer nights make for some unforgettable tranquility and pink radiant skies. My evening here was purely spontaneous.
