Aureole qualifies as one of Prague's best fine dining restaurants. Known for its great views over the capital's major landmarks, this venue is the place to come for service and style. Located on the twenty-seventh floor of City Tower there can almost be no better view from a high rise in Prague. Whilst the decor appears a little tired, one's attention is easily distracted by the well presented dishes and setting. Food was good and having taken advantage of Prague Mussel Week, it made the overall cost bearable. We opted for the chocolate cake, filled with sour cherry and tonka bean. Although the cake was a little dry, the banana sorbet on the side gave it the lift it needed. Overall I can say that any visit here is worthwhile, especially if you seek sumptuous plates and very palatable wine.
