Great Ocean Road sign
The Great Ocean Road was build as a living memorial to those Australians who lost their lives in WWI. It took the men 13 years to complete the 224 km (152miles) road, which hugs the cliffs around the windy southern coast of Victoria. Nowadays it is one of Australia’s most famous road trips and an important source of tourism for the area. You can drive the entire route in one day, but I’d recommend taking at least 4 days to behold all of the natural beautiful that lays along the route. The sign is located between Anglesea and Aireys Inlet, a good place for a touristy selfie while on the road! #heritage #culture #free #greatoceanroadtrip
