As we all need to acclimatized once we arrive in Huaraz at an altitude of 3100m I have listed some acclimatization hikes which can be done in one day. Some of them can be reached by a collectivo and some of them only with a taxi. It makes sense to share the taxi with other travellers and pay the driver for the whole day to wait as there are most of the time no other opportunity.
