I didn't want to come to Paris as a tourist, so when a friend of mine who's a local invited me to tag along on her trip, I jumped at the opportunity. Here are some spots to see, eat, and take photos of. Trust me, I try to stay as far away from crowded places as possible. Flying into Paris: if you're coming from outside Europe, you'll most likely land at Charles de Gaulle. If you're already in Europe, I recommend you come into Orly. The airport is smaller, more quiet, and easier to navigate. To get into town from ORY, take the Orly Bus - around €9 for a one-way ticket.
