On its cultural promotion project of the decade, the Mexican government made a list of towns that are known to be part of the cultural patrimony. The list of magical towns, called Pueblos Magicos has now reached 121 places all over Mexico. The goal was to encourage local tourism and preserve traditional towns. Here are the 10 towns that I liked the most because of its Mexican style and that are not too touristy yet. Some of them are getting more and more known by tourists like Tulum and Bacalar in the Quintana Roo state so you better pack now if you are looking for a tranquil trip!
