In my book, Shanghai is not exactly a place of sights or historical wonders and yet I am stumped if I can ever recall a dull moment. Whether it's the chic, illuminated rooftop bars overlooking a sea of highrises or weaving between the quirky lanes of the French Concession district - Shanghai always invokes a feeling of nostalgia.
