Off to Cape Town on 9 Nov. wanted to drive down to cape point and back via penguins. Any ideas for a place to stay close to south tip and any special good food place on the way?

Airbnb's are a plenty. But stay close to kalkbay or simonstown.

Cape to Cuba, great restaurant in Kalk Bay. Best to book.

The Harbourview in Simons Town is a good place for lunch with a view. If you have a sweet tooth...JB’s has very good Ice Cream.
