Kaiventures's question in Canada

Outdoor / Family

We are heading here in December. What are some of the best non-skiing activities? I am only 3 years old!

You could head up to Chateau Lake Louise where they clear off a large portion of the lake for skating then head into the Chateau for a hot chocolate. Also Banff also puts on a Santa Clause parade which isn't half bad.
Also head north on the Banff-Jasper highway (Columbia Icefields Parkway) to the Columbia ice fields (about an hour and a half) and take in the majestic beauty of the Columbia glacier or brace the skywalk.
Awesome, thanks
I've always really wanted to check this out and I imagine as a kid would love to see and walk on: https://www.theguardian.com/world/gallery/2015/feb/02/frozen-bubbles-in-canadian-lakes-in-pictures
That looks awesome. Thanks
Hey - any other ski towns in that area that also have some good non-skiing family activities?
