Best value Japanese restaurant in downtown Vancouver? Headed there for a cheeky 3-day trip later this week and am looking to get a legit Japanese food fix.

You can't throw a pumpkin latte ten feet without hitting a sushi joint. Its all good, some are just better than others. My cheap go-to right downtown was Momo Sushi near the seabus.

I agree with Kate, Vancouver is blessed with great Japanese food. Try kishimoto on the drive for sushi, motomachi on Denman for ramen and any of the guu restaurants for izakaya.
