There's this amazing hotel, straight out of a murder mystery. It's called Ye Olde Bell and is super cozy, creepy and old (from around the 1800's). They've got a fabulous restaurant, nice back yard and the village around is quiet and charming. It's in Derbyshire.Sherwood Forest is super chill and…
Seb you defined the question as “Atlanta” not “London” so this will reach no U.K. people or travelers. You should delete and ask again and select London or England.
If you want coast do Jurassic Coast. For villages go for the cotswolds. Whatever you choose bring a waterproof jacket?☔️
And for either of those options rent a car.
Train up to Edinburgh! You’ll see a lot of the country side on the way and once you’re up there you’ll have endless options for fabulous meals/pubs/hikes. Not to mention Scots are notorious for their hospitality and story telling. You won’t regret it!
