Looking for a travel buddy for my tour to Cambodia and Bali in December 2023. Anyone planning to visit this period?

Dear Tess I don't plan to go to Cambodia this year but if you have questions about my experiences let me know. Greetings from Germany
Dear Mario, You have been there? I really would like to know some tips for travelling there? You have some nice hotels/hostels or spot I really should not skip? Thank you!
Dear Tess, I have been to Cambodia in 2018. My itinerary was Phnom Phen, Sihanoukville, Koh Rong, Koh Rong Sanloem, Kampot, Battambang and Siem Reap. Only in Battambang did I stay in a hostel because the private rooms with bathroom often cost no more than 15-20 EUR. In Phnom Phen, I found the S21…
Kampot is a nice place on a river to relax for two days. The famous Kampot pepper comes from there. In Battambang there is a circus you should visit. Some artists who work in the Cirque du Soleil come from there. In Battambang I can recommend the Lucky Hostel. There, a tuktuk driver offers a day…
From Battambang I took the public boat across the Mekong to Siem Reap. Highly recommended! I was able to buy the ticket at the hostel. Siam Reap is the starting point for Angkor Wat. I recommend at least five days as a stay. I shared a tuktuk with a Canadian and visited a temple every day. We were…
Most of the time I travelled by bus. Make sure you take a more comfortable bus. The bus quality is not the same as in Europe. I'm also on holiday at the moment and will be back in two weeks. Then I'll see what information I can find. When do you want to start your journey? Kind regards Mario
In Kampot, I slept at the Happy Family Guest House. That was very good. In Siam Reap at the Shadow Angkor Residence. Top! In Koh Rong Sanloem at The Beach Island Resort. This was a futon in a hut with a mosquito net over it. In Koh Rong at the Green Ocean Koh Rong. In Phnom Penh at the One up Banana Hotel. That was also good.
Dear Mario, Thank you so much for your advice.
You are welcome dear Tess. If you have any questions let me know.
