Cafe de prins was cozy for a drink at night, Tap Zuid had a great beer selection but got busy/crowded, and the SkyLounge in the Doubletree Hotel offers great city views and an outdoor rooftop deck.
Thanks so much, Will try to check out your sugestions.
I really enjoyed the Hutspot on Van Woustraat which had a great cafe upstairs but I think the cafe is closed for renovations currently
Thanks again Brent, I appreciate your insight.
All the Dutch museums are fantastic. I particularly enjoyed the Tropen museum and the Film museum
Fresh stroopwafels at Albert Cuyp Market. Also, check Huis Marseille Photography Museum. If you are into spicy food then try some unpretentious joints for Surinamese cuisine.
Thanks so much for your suggestions!
For real Dutch food and Dutch atmosphere go to moeders at the Rozengracht. Walk through the Jordaan neighborhood and visit the '9 streets' (9 straatjes) for shopping.
