Trash and Vaudeville
Those of us of a certain age, who are still passionate about the music of our youth, may get more than a little nostalgic walking into this Lower East Side shop. Punk rock tees, studded jackets, bondage inspired clothing and a huge array of Doc Martins fill up this place. And of course the piped-in tunes are loud and raw, not your typical background shopping sounds. Founded in 1975, when the scene was just getting off the ground, Trash and Vaudeville is still going strong.
