Sacred Monkey Forest Sanctuary
Most vacationers, staying outside Ubud, usually have the Monkey Forest as a must-visit on their day long sight-seeing itinerary. The Sacred Monkey Forest of Padangtegal is a leafy nutmeg tree sanctuary and Ubud’s most popular attraction. Go here to watch hundreds of monkeys in their natural habitat, swinging playfully, jumping around, or swimming in water. Be mindful of the rules though and always remember that these monkeys are not pets, they are wild animals. It is not smart to take food in, even bananas. Monkeys have an extremely strong sense of smell. Avoid sunglasses, flashy jewelry or anything you might have hanging off you. If you end up with a monkey scratch for any reason, seek immediate medical attention to ensure you do not contract a disease. #jungle #bali #nature #indianajones #park #playground #funforteens #familyfriendly #kidslearning
