The Brooklyn Art Library is home to “The Sketchbook Project”, the world’s largest holding of these items. Tens of thousands of artists from almost every country around the globe have contributed to this fascinating array, it’s an absolutely marvelous place to explore. The library also hosts occasional readings and artist presentations. If you can’t get here in person, at least check out their online sketchbook collection. Either way, you could very easily spend hours losing yourself in the delights of these endlessly creative works.
