Statue of W. A. Mozart
Mozart performed on this square at eleven. His statue, positioned on a five metre high column depicting him as a child, pays tribute to his performance with his older sister, Maria Anna (nicknamed Nanner). If you look closely you'll see that he only has one wing, marking the tragic end to his life. Being disrobed, signifies his bid for freedom.
The statue is suitably placed opposite the National Theatre on Cabbage Market (Zelený Trh).
