Naritasan Fukagawa Fudōdō
Fukagawa Fudodo temple is well-known for the fire purification ritual that takes place there several times each day. A fire is lit at the altar, accompanied by ritual chanting and drumming. When the flames die down, people come up to the altar to have a monk pass their bag over the fire for luck. The temple has a modern annex with a prayer corridor containing over 9000 miniature statues encased in glass.
