Bare Island
Possibly Sydney’s most popular dive site. Almost entirely ringed by reefs, you can dive either the east or the west side depending on the swell. The bottom is blanketed in vast, vibrant sponge gardens with nudibranchs galore and all sorts of weird bottom-dwelling critters. Some, like the Bare Island anglerfish, the smaller-than-your-pinky pygmy pipehorse and the red Indian fish have only been sighted at Bare and one or two other locations. #scubadiving #scuba #dive #diving #wildlife
