New York City Center
If City Center’s annual Flamenco Festival doesn’t get your heart racing and your palms sweating, you probably didn’t have a pulse in the first place. Spain’s greatest dancers come here once a year, usually in early March. Free flamenco lessons for ticket holders are sometimes given before performances.
If flamenco is not your thing (you poor soul..) City Center also host numerous other splendid dance troupes throughout the year and I’ve also seen some excellent theater here. They do a lot of revivals but aren’t afraid of taking chances with lesser known or new works.
