Stone bridge is evidently the oldest throughout the Czech Republic dating from the 13th century. For those familiar with Charles Bridge in Czech's capital, Prague, then this could be considered the downsized original version of it. The landmark spans over the Otava river which is a branch of the Vltava River running through Prague. The bridge draws in local day trippers but is  a far cry from the thousands descending on the capital's iconic bridge. #pisek #bridge #statue #free #architecture #history
