Jalan Hanuman is my favorite haunt in Ubud though it is a distance away from the heart of the town, Ubud Market. Instead it is near to the Monkey Forest (Hanuman is the mythical monkey in Indian folklore and religion). I don’t visit the Monkey Forest but I shop along this stretch a lot.
