Korçë is a muddled, little town acting as a hub for traversing north or west into the Albanian mountains. Whilst there is little reason to stay here you can come across a number of bunkers dotted around town. This one shown is lacking colour but you can encounter a plethora of others which locals adorn with flower pots and cover with paint as a way of beautifying remnants of the Kosovan War. Since they can't really be shifted, there is no better way in which they can be put to good use. According to the Lonely Planet many Albanians lose their virginity in these hideouts!
