Torre Česta
Currently under construction, Torre Česta, also known as The Second Tower (or Falesia), is one of San Marino's most arresting landmarks. At 755 metres it stands as the nation's highest tower. In addition, it appears in the coat of arms of the national flag.
Like many towers it was used for defense and now simply adds beauty and perspective to a a great enclave in the middle of the Apennine mountains.
At night the tower's lit up pink.
I walked around most of its perimeter at night and got some great shots over to Torre Guaita Tower, the oldest of the three.
