Angera is sweet and the Viale della Repubblica is no exception. Family restaurants, cafes and delicatessens spring up every half a mile and the rest lends itself to pastel coloured houses and date palms. The town is reachable by hourly boat crossings from Arona which is the gateway to Lake Maggorie when arriving from the south from Milan. Whilst it's classified a town its quiet ambiance on a visit one sunny Monday afternoon, without doubt left me with the feeling I'd stepped foot in a quiet Italian village. #town #datepalms #restaurants #angera #lombardy #italy
